Central and North West London Foundation Trust wins two categories
Twenty organisations have received awards across 21 categories at the 2013 HSJ Efficiency Awards, held on Wednesday at the Grosvenor House in London.
The night’s big winner was Central and North West London Foundation Trust, which won both the Communicating Efficiency and Efficiency in Commissioning Support Services categories.
The HSJ Efficiency Awards were established in 2011. They recognise the projects and initiatives that help to ensure patients receive the best care most efficiently.
HSJ news editor Nick Golding, who hosted the ceremony, said: “The winning projects help safeguard the future of the NHS, ensuring its resources are used to their full potential and helping to make savings in a way which enhances, rather than damages, patient care.
“The projects honoured in this year’s HSJ Efficiency Awards can inspire NHS organisations elsewhere, helping to safeguard patient care by enabling the health service to make the best use of its limited resources at all levels of the health service across the country.”
