WINNER: East Riding of Yorkshire Council: Digital Record Enabling and Management Support (DREaMS) Team
Digital Record Enabling and Management Support (DREaMS) team makes over 20,000 care providers and residents’ dreams come true, say organisers. Millions of pounds are available annually to providers for technology to change lives but if they don’t know how, no one will benefit, they add. The East Riding of Yorkshire Council DREaMS team has worked one-to-one with over 850 providers to become more digitally enabled, providing tailored support with a game-changing digital maturity tool, revolutionising how the system works with care homes – already recognised in 12 months as best practice. Feedback includes “This is what is needed I hope other councils join this approach” (managing director, care association).
