Alwen Williams, the chief executive of Barts Health Trust, was part of an expert panel that discussed what the NHS has learnt from the pandemic and how it will shape future practice.
The webinar took place on Wednesday, 2 September 2020 at 10.30am.
HSJ deputy editor Dave West, who chaired the webinar, was also joined by Professor Sir Chris Ham – chair of Coventry and Warwickshire Sustainability Transformation Partnership, non-executive director of Royal Free London Foundation Trust and former chief executive of the King’s Fund – and by Anne Rainsberry, managing partner of Carnall Farrar.
Together they explored how the NHS can retain the agility seen during the pandemic, what a well-performing organisation looks like in the current context, and what expectations might be placed on providers by national bodies.
