Declan Hadley
Prior to joining Cisco in April 2021, Declan worked in the NHS for over thirty years. He started his career as a mental health nurse, moving quickly into Information Management in the 1990s. In 2001, Declan was appointed as health informatics director at Lancashire Care Foundation Trust, where he led on the development of innovative mobile solutions and new clinical applications to support an agile workforce. From 2014, Declan led on the development and delivery of a digital health strategy for Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care System. In this role, he directed several large-scale innovation programmes at a regional level, including the Northwest Coast Connected Health Cities Programme, a regional shared care record exemplar and the data analytics of the ICS’s Population Health Management Accelerator.
In his current role as healthcare lead for the UK and Ireland, Declan is leading on Cisco’s healthcare strategy, shaping solutions, and working closely with a number of NHS organisations involved in the New Hospital Programme, to accelerate their digital transformation.
