Meghana Pandit is Oxford University Hospitals’ first female chief executive officer, and the first person of colour to head one of the NHS’s 10 leading teaching hospitals which make up the Shelford Group. Professor Pandit had held senior leadership positions for nearly a decade – as chief medical officer and later deputy chief executive at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire Trust – before joining OUH in 2018 as CMO. She was made interim CEO in the summer of 2022 and given the job permanently early last year.
