WINNER: Collaborative Newcastle: Working Together to Improve Health, Wealth and Wellbeing: Care Home Support during Covid

Collaborative Newcastle is an innovative and ambitious new partnership (including health, local government, higher education and the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector), seeking to improve the health, wealth and wellbeing of everyone in Newcastle. Through a series of high-profile joint projects, joint leadership training, shared values and bringing budgets and teams together, it has been able to try radical new things. As the pandemic hit, it mobilised as one and accelerated joint working to protect the most vulnerable people in the city, including those in care homes, whilst maintaining the high quality of core services.
