WINNER:
Morris House Group Practice
Vaccine Centre
Morris House immediately recognised from a public health and community perspective that the covid-19 vaccine needed to be accessible for all patients within the borough. Therefore, the practice opened its doors seven days per week and ran as late as 9pm to allow the maximum number of patients access. In addition, the practice organised and hosted numerous outreach programmes such as the vaccination bus that was posted throughout Haringey, vaccinating those who were in areas of low uptake or unable to visit the surgery. Additional outreach programmes were hosted at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, religious places of worship, and food banks. The group were really energetic and displayed passion and dedication to their community through their presentation. Their commitment to reducing the vaccine deprivation as well as their approach to workforce development made them the winner, said the judges.
