Within mental health, electronic prescribing and medicines management (ePMA) is a powerful tool for enhancing continuity across service lines and improving the safety and quality of medicines and clinical pathways. In a bid to reap the benefits of this technology, South London and Maudsley Foundation Trust, together with technology provider Better, undertook a project to configure the Better Meds ePMA to meet the specific needs of the trust before implementing the solution across the trust’s four hospitals and community settings.
