Lancashire and South Cumbria FT: Advocacy for Autistic People in Mental Health Inpatient Settings
The foundation trust and Advocacy Focus offered enhanced advocacy provision for autistic people across mental health inpatient settings. This was advocacy support for autistic people who are in mental health inpatient services informally – as this is something that they would not ordinarily be legally entitled to – and engagement with autistic people in mental health inpatient services under a section of the Mental Health Act.
