The report, launched by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, is an audit of 10 standards for acute paediatrics as outlined in the first Facing the Future report. The audit was carried out to assess compliance against the standards across the UK - thereby building a comprehensive picture of paediatric provision throughout the four nations – and to measure the impact of the standards themselves.
