STRUCTURE: Cannock Chase clinical commissioning croup has been authorised by the NHS Commissioning Board with a population of 132,000 residents.

The CCG was given the green light after meeting all but six of the 119 criteria.

It has 27 local GP practices and will have a budget of around £147m from April onwards.

The six areas that require further development focus on having a detailed financial plan that delivers financial balance and having clear and credible plans to deal with inherited issues.
