WINNER: Genmed and South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre: A Partnership Delivering Additional Capacity, Technology and Value Through Surgery Managed Services

A new theatre at South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC) opened in July and will support the NHS in addressing waiting list numbers, with an additional 900 procedures expected to be performed within the first 12 months of opening. Genmed was appointed as SWLEOC’s managed service partner in June 2016 to provide financial and operational efficiencies for SWLEOC in non-clinical areas. As part of the ongoing partnership, Genmed funded and procured all the required equipment and project managed the theatre development, converting offices previously used for administration.
