GOLD: Alliance Medical & Northern Care Alliance FT: A Partnership Between Alliance Medical And Northern Care Alliance FT

Oldham Community Diagnostic Centre opened in 2022 and is the UK’s largest out-of-hospital CDC. It is a partnership between Northern Care Alliance and Alliance Medical Limited. AML funded and managed the development of the £10m CDC, mobilising it in under 12 months. Through a joint staffing model, AML and NCA collaboratively deliver a range of diagnostic services, including same-day diagnostic bundles for four new streamlined pathways. These new pathways have already delivered impressive reductions in the average time from referral to decision to treat, improving both patient experience and outcomes.
