WINNER: DMC Healthcare, Lincolnshire ICB, United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals Trust, and Lincolnshire Elective Activity Coordination Hub: Reducing Dermatology Patient Waiting Lists Post-COVID Recovery
Recovery DMC Healthcare, Lincolnshire ICB, ULHT, and Lincolnshire EACH collaborated to address the dermatology waiting lists in Lincolnshire following the covid crisis, which had surged to nearly 8,000 patients, with wait times exceeding 100 weeks. The Lincolnshire EACH was already established as a centralised service for referrals and was a pivotal service in this project to review and validate the entire waiting list. This ongoing collaboration underscores a commitment to continuous improvement. There are plans to extend its impact across specialties, setting a precedent for effective healthcare delivery.
