Professor Mark Pugh
Professor Mark Pugh qualified from the University of Leeds in 1992 pursuing a career in anaesthesia and critical care medicine. He was appointed as a consultant at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals in April 2002. He has undertaken several trust wide roles, most noticeably as the hospital dean for undergraduate medical students (recognised by the award of his Honorary Chair by Manchester University in 2013) and latterly served as the trust medical director from 2015 to 2018, in which capacity he collaborated with Dr Adeley in delivering the CT post mortem service.
