This is incredibly naive - imagine an article written 6 months ago describing the proposed CCG configuration back then and it would be completely out of date now. The level of variation across CCGs is already significantly reduced from what it was at the turn of the year and the homogenisation process will surely continue as it quickly becomes clear that many are far too small to be viable in the long-term. Expect wholesale mergers, and the subsuming of CSUs into new structures which resemble PCT cluster organisations in all but name.
