I am glad that regulater has intervened in Devolution Manchester. Sadly nothing will change until we get leadership right. Devolution Manchester and Health and Social care integration is the way forward. But as they say, if you always do what you have always done you always get what you always got.

Devolution was supposed to transform the services but so far nothing has happened. Workforce problem has not been sorted. No leaders are held to account for failures in NHS.

Sadly staff work in poor systems, poor IT and Social care funding has been reduced and lot of patients are in hospital beds when they can be easily looked after in the community.

Unless we get leadership right and accountability right, nothing will change and sadly patients, staff and NHS will continue to suffer.

Leadership is honesty, sincerity, integrity, courage to transform putting patients and Patientsafety at the heart.

NHS is a managed organisation. Culture of bullying is common. NHS works in silos. Without getting rid of these we will not transform NHS or Social care.

Leaders are visionary, they plan well, they create great team of great people they create common purpose, they unite everyone and engage everyone and work with everyone and get rid of blockers or bad doctors, bad managers, bad culture and they have great courage and integrity to transform.
