Its actually hard to ensure that high priority groups receive the Pfizer BioNtech vaccine, as these people need to travel to vaccination centres. Some don't want to travel very far or leave their house. Some don't want to go out when its dark etc. In these situations, NHS frontline workers are receiving it so as not to waste doses. The Oxford Astra Zeneca vaccine will mean that healthcare professionals can administer the vaccines in peoples homes and in care homes and that will increase the access for these groups.
