Breaking the chain of infection with lockdown, vaccine rushing into to the fray and hope in sight. Christmas wave may not be coming as thought but our staff and hospitals are still under enormous stress. I see the graphs but I also have to travel to work and see the traffic jams. This gives you ample time to read the information signs above telling 'stay at home - essential travel only'. We are not in a lockdown when you see the sheer volume of movement and then there are the ones going on a supermarket sojourn to browse the sales. I still don't get why garden centres are open either. We focus on the stats but just look at the behaviours in the outside world as that is what is scaring me for the next month. Many of the public are now fatigued by restrictions and from what I see on the M11, they are not working from home...
