Nobody considers that the lockdown itself helps the mutations that confer more infection (more efficiency of infection so fewer viruses left or acquired can infect you) survive. Perhaps the more infectious mutated virus is a monster of our own creation. It also stands to reason that as it needs fewer viruses to infect you, it fools the immune system better so we are creating variants that will give us long COVID. We are keeping the population locked up and not vaccinating them. Instead we vaccine the elderly who do not need the vaccine. I would go as far as to say that nobody needs the vaccine. We should have concentrated on medicines such as the one Trump took to leave the hospital in one day. This Trump hatred has made far worse this China virus. We should have done as Brazil and Sweden or as the early policy of the UK government to try to establish herd immunity in the young. Instead we are in this mess of our own creation with a media that scares the people, a government that incarcerates us for no good reason, and an opposition that demands we should have been incarcerated much earlier, and parasitical academics on tenure running things and destroying industry and the real economy!
