Yes, no more manager abuse please. And no more backoffice staff abuse by managers too. "Oh we are not cutting services , we are cutting backoffice staff" - as if they are a sub species of employee who gather in large numbers and idle their days away just ripe for culling. Front line staff need well staffed backoffices to underpin their efficiency and effectiveness and yet they become the faceless bureaucrats that people like Dorrell and Milburn have probably castigated in the past!
