The Labour party glibly states that it will find 36,000 additional healthcare workers (broken down as in the article above). From which section of society do they intend to divert these people to healthcare (from there otherwise different choice of career)? Where are the 31,000 extra University places to come from? There would need to be a doubling of places at medical school (currently 8000) with all of the additional places to become GPs! Most improbable to say the least.

And the 23,000 additional nursing degrees - where do they come from?
Oh and it takes a minimum of 4 years (eg for graduate entrants) to train as a basic doctor and several more to become a "GP". Just in time for the next election then!
