Good to see Simon Stevens speaking up for more funding for the NHS. Of course, NHS needs more money that too upfront so that it can be invested to transform NHS so that need for more funding can be reduced in future years.

But only additional funding without change in culture, leadership, governance and staff and patient engagement will not transform NHS.

As Anthony Robinson said 'If you always do what you have always done you always get what you always got!

NHS has to stop working in silos, invest more in IT, transform elderly care and community care and need more skills mix rather than appointing more doctors, more nurses and more of the same!
