HSJ senior correspondent Nicholas Carding asked three expert panellists about the experiences of ICSs so far, what they should do now and some of the challenges around implementing what can be significant changes.
On the panel were Indi Singh, digital healthcare expert at event sponsors PA Consulting; Cindy Fedell, chief digital and information officer at West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership; and Sarah Scobie, deputy director of research at the Nuffield Trust.
They discussed how the covid-19 crisis will affect ICSs’ digital initiatives, which ones they should focus on going forward and how to balance areas’ own priorities with the national agenda coming out of NHS England and Improvement.
