COMMERCIAL: Harmoni has still not received any payment for the NHS 111 service it provides in Bristol, three months after it soft launched.
A report to Bristol CCG’s board said Harmoni’s performance was improving and it was expected they would be meeting all contractual performance targets in early August. Full launch of the service to take NHS Direct calls is expected to follow shortly after.
The report said Harmoni, which is contracted to provide NHS 111 across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, still have a shortfall of nine clinical advisors against their target of 43. However, 10 are currently in training.
It said: “To date, as the service has not hard launched there has been no payments to the 111 provider. Contract meetings are ongoing and a recommendation for settlement on the service provided by Harmoni from April 2013 to full service commencement will be provided to CCG Chief Officers as it becomes available.
The report added: “Harmoni have shown strong commitment to understand the causes of their performance difficulties and to working with commissioners to resolve them.”
