Hull Clinical Commissioning Group
The CCG’s vision was to create a healthier city. They were determined to transform poor health outcomes and improve lives.
The CCG helped to establish the Hull 2017 volunteering programme, with – 130,000 hours of volunteering across 29,000 shifts, improving the accident and emergency standard and Delayed Transfer of Care performance.
Describing the team as passionate, energetic and engaging, the judges said the team succeeded in engaging local communities and have focused on what matters to people, ensuring they deliver services that really make a difference to patients’ lives.
