Despite facing many challenges, Humber Teaching FT has demonstrated significant improvements to the quality of services, achieved at pace.
Patients, carers and staff have been at the heart of the trust’s vision, which saw rapid improvement in Care Quality Commission ratings from “requires improvement” in 2016 to “good” in 2017 – a rating that was maintained in its inspection in January, when other improvements were also highlighted.
The trust shows real commitment to patient and carer engagement, treating staff with respect and dignity, and making quality improvement part of the role of every member of staff to maximise patient safety across all its services.
