NWL CAMHS Specialised Commissioning Provider Collaborative

The collaborative was formed in 2020, between West London Trust and Central and North West London Trust to transform mental healthcare for local children. Clinically-led and partnership-oriented, the mission is to achieve the best outcomes for young people and their families. The primary goal is to support children and young people in the least restrictive settings, bringing care closer to home through innovative community support while addressing the challenge of having one of the lowest bed bases for CAMHS in the country. Previously, many children were placed out of the area, leading to long admissions and poor outcomes.
