WINNER: Doc Abode, Local Care Direct and Yorkshire and Humber Academic Health Science Network: Improving workforce capacity and patient outcomes in urgent care through digital innovation
The Doc Abode platform connects and matches multidisciplinary clinical workforce to improve response times for urgent care patients. Patient home visit requests are made through a mobile app.
The platform has improved clinical outcomes for emergency patients, reducing accident and emergency attendances, hospital admissions and length of stay.
